Getting started
How to become a UGC creator
To become a UGC creator, pick a niche, set up accounts for that content, make three to five sample videos, and apply to paid creator programs or pitch brands. You do not need a following or professional gear to start.
1. Pick a niche you can talk about
Choose a topic you know or care about: careers, beauty, fitness, food, tech, study tips. A clear niche makes it easier for brands and viewers to understand what you make.
2. Set up dedicated accounts
Create accounts for your creator content on the platforms you will use. Keep the name, photo and bio consistent so people recognise you everywhere.
3. Make sample videos
Film a few short videos that show you can hook a viewer, speak clearly, and show a product naturally. These become your portfolio.
- A talking-to-camera tip or story
- A quick product demo or screen recording
- A relatable skit or reaction
4. Find paid work
Apply to creator programs, join creator marketplaces, and pitch brands you already use. Programs are often the easiest first step because they give you briefs and feedback.
Argo Creators pays $35–$1,500 USD per eligible video, and the application takes about a minute.
5. Improve with every video
Look at which videos people watched to the end and why. Small changes to your hook, pacing and captions add up quickly.
Questions
Do I need experience to become a UGC creator?
No. Many programs look for people who are comfortable on camera and willing to learn. Argo Creators requires no experience.
How long does it take to get your first paid video?
It depends on how quickly you make samples and apply. In view-based programs, your first videos may be warm-ups before pay starts.
