Sample letter

Dear hiring team,

I am applying for the administrative assistant role at [Company]. Your posting emphasizes [scheduling, records, or team coordination], which is most of what I have done for [type of team] over the past [time period].

When [team] had overlapping deadlines, I organized [calendar, records, or request queue], confirmed priorities with [stakeholders], and introduced [specific process] to reduce missed details. I kept sensitive information restricted to the people who needed it and checked [important output] before it went out.

I would welcome the chance to support [Company]'s team and discuss the systems you rely on. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,
[Your name]
