How to Apply Through Lever

Lever hosts job postings and application forms for employers. A Lever link identifies the application software, not a single hiring process: each employer can choose its own questions and review steps.

Start with the employer's current opening

Follow the employer's careers page to the specific role. Confirm the title, location, and work arrangement before opening the form. If you arrived through a job board, check that it points to the same active posting.

Review the form and your file

Lever posting forms can contain custom questions and indicate which fields are required. Prepare a readable resume, then answer the questions for this role from your actual experience. Check the file and contact details you selected before submitting.

  1. Read every required question before drafting a long response.
  2. Use the employer's wording only where it accurately describes your work.
  3. Check the selected resume and your email address on the final form.

Separate submission from review

Save the confirmation and note the posting you applied to. Lever records a direct applicant as an opportunity in the employer's applicant pipeline, but the employer controls what happens next. If you need an update, use the contact path the employer provides; Lever says it cannot check an applicant's status for them.
