Argo is building AI-powered job search and automated applications. We help people find relevant opportunities and handle the repetitive work of applying.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern to ship real features across the web app, the APIs, and the systems that submit applications, working in TypeScript, Go, and React.
What you’ll do
- Own a project from scoping through launch, with a teammate reviewing your plans and code.
- Build features across the React frontend and the TypeScript and Go services behind it.
- Write tests and monitoring for the code you ship, and fix it when it breaks in production.
- Give and receive feedback in code review.
- Talk with job seekers, many of them students, to understand what to build next.
What we’re looking for
- Current enrollment in a computer science, engineering, or related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of at least one general-purpose language and core data structures and algorithms.
- A real project from school, work, or on your own, and the ability to explain the decisions behind it.
- Clear communication and openness to feedback.
Useful experience
- TypeScript, Go, or React.
- Building with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
- A side project, open-source contribution, or campus tool that other people use.
