Argo is building AI-powered job search and automated applications. We help people find relevant opportunities and handle the repetitive work of applying.
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to take Argo features from idea to release, working across the stack and close to the people who use them.
What you’ll do
- Own features end to end, from shaping the problem with design to shipping the frontend, backend, and data changes.
- Talk with job seekers, watch how they use Argo, and turn what you learn into product improvements.
- Build in React, TypeScript, and Go across the web app, APIs, and background workflows.
- Run experiments and use product data to decide what to build next.
- Hold a high bar for speed, polish, and reliability in everything you ship.
What we’re looking for
- Experience shipping customer-facing products across the full stack.
- Strong product judgment about what to build as well as how to build it.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills, and comfort working in Go services.
- The ability to work without detailed specs and keep ownership of results after launch.
- Clear communication about technical decisions, tradeoffs, and progress.
Useful experience
- Working as an early engineer on a new product or at an early-stage startup.
- Consumer onboarding, activation, or growth flows.
- Product features built on language models.
