Argo is building AI-powered job search and automated applications. We help people find relevant opportunities and handle the repetitive work of applying.
We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape how people find jobs, review tailored applications, and handle employer replies in Argo, working directly with engineers to ship quickly.
What you’ll do
- Design core flows across job matching, resume tailoring, application review, and the inbox, from first sketch to shipped interface.
- Prototype in Figma or code and test ideas with job seekers before and after they ship.
- Work beside engineers on the details of each release, including states, edge cases, motion, and copy.
- Turn support conversations, session recordings, and product data into clear design decisions.
- Extend Argo’s design system so new screens stay consistent as the product grows.
- Make a stressful process feel calm and trustworthy.
What we’re looking for
- Experience shipping consumer web or mobile products, with clear reasoning behind your work.
- Strong interaction and visual craft, including type, layout, and interface states.
- Fluency in Figma and comfort prototyping with code or AI tools.
- A habit of talking to users and changing course when the evidence points elsewhere.
- The ability to own a problem end to end without a detailed spec.
Useful experience
- Subscription products, onboarding, or paywalls.
- Products that act on someone’s behalf and need to earn their trust.
- Front-end skills in React and CSS.
