Argo is building AI-powered job search and automated applications. We help people find relevant opportunities and handle the repetitive work of applying.
We’re looking for an AI Engineer Intern to improve the models and agents that tailor resumes, answer application questions, and fill out job applications.
What you’ll do
- Build and improve LLM features that tailor resumes and draft answers to application questions.
- Work on browser automation agents that read application forms and fill them out correctly.
- Build evaluations that measure output quality and catch regressions before they reach customers.
- Investigate failed applications, find the cause, and ship the fix.
- Ship your work to production and follow how it performs.
What we’re looking for
- Current enrollment in a computer science, engineering, or related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- A project built with LLMs, such as an agent, a retrieval system, or a tool that calls model APIs.
- Solid code in TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- A critical eye for model output and the habit of testing changes before trusting them.
Useful experience
- Browser automation tools such as Playwright or Puppeteer.
- Evaluations, structured outputs, or tool calling.
- Backend services or data pipelines in Go.
